Terms of Service

Last updated August 2026

The agreement between you and Zipfolk when you use the app.

Who can use Zipfolk

You must be 18 or older and give us accurate information about yourself, including a real home address so we can place you in the right area.

One account per person. Businesses are created from a neighbor account and are reviewed by our team before they appear publicly.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give Zipfolk permission to display it in the app to the neighbors your visibility settings allow.

You are responsible for your posts, listings, prices, and for meeting anyone you arrange to meet safely.

What isn't allowed

Harassment, threats, hate speech, scams, illegal goods or services, sharing someone else's private information, spam, and impersonating another person or business.

We may hide content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Our Community Guidelines describe this in plain language.

Transactions between neighbors

Zipfolk helps neighbors find each other. We are not a party to the deals you make, we do not hold your money for a sale between neighbors, and we do not guarantee anyone's work, goods, or conduct.

Paid features

Boosts, verification, background checks, business upgrades and sponsorships are optional. Prices and terms are shown before you pay, and payment is handled by our payment processor.

Verification and background-check fees pay for the review itself, so they are not refundable once the review has started.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Login & Security. We may suspend or close an account that repeatedly breaks these terms.

Changes and contact

We'll update these terms as the product changes and note the date at the top. Questions go to the Zipfolk team through Help & Support.

These policies are written and maintained by the Zipfolk team.
